It's Christmas in July!
It's fairly obvious I love Christmas and I always enjoy designing a Christmas-in-July project - mostly because I know there's a better chance you'll get it done if you start this early!
This month, I chose to do something I haven't done on a Party with Patrick project to date. I don't know how obvious it is in the project photo, but the trees in the scene are trimmed with heat-set crystals. There are also crystal "stars" in the sky.
This project is based on one you'll see in the upcoming winter 2012 issue of Quilting Celebrations. I can't tell you what it is yet, but it would make a great room decoration to coordinate with this topper.
There are no embroidery files available this month due to the larger size of this piece but be sure to check out the embroidery page at PatrickLose.com because we are creating an embroidery of the snowman and his packages for you to use on napkins, placemats or other holiday projects. It should be available sometime this month.
I hope you enjoy making this project as much as I did! Merry Christmas-in-July :)
