Holiday Splendor mini mat, mug mat, hot pad or trivet
7 (3/4)" x 7 (3/4)" : 32601 Stitches, 6 Colors, 5 Needles

You must have an 8-inch or larger hoop to stitch the mug mat. The coaster can be stitched in a 5 x 7-inch hoop.

There is an option for a satin-finished edge, also, if you'd rather not add a binding. Simply stop before that final step if you's like to bind.

Machine embroidery applique in the hoop! (See our photo tutorial for in-the-hoop mats)

To make a candle mat, mug mat, trivet, etc - Sandwich batting—or Fusible Fleece 2 from the Warm Company—between the wrong sides of your top and backing fabrics and hoop. The first and last needle stops made in the course of the stitch-out create an outline, through all layers, as a cutting guide for the outside edge of the mat. There is an option at the very end for a satin-finished edge if you'd rather not bind the mat.

Includes a PDF Cover Stitching Master showing stitch order.
